THEFT FROM LOADER - CARDIGAN
On November 3rd, 2009 Montague RCMP received a complaint that approximately 300 lt of diesel fuel and a CD player were stolen from a front end loader. The loader was parked in a pit just off Collins Road, Cardigan.

THEFT OF VEHICLE AND ARSON - CARDIGAN
In the early morning hours of October 28th, 2009 Montague RCMP were called to a suspicious vehicle fire on the Confederation Trail just off Straghbohgie road,Cardigan. The vehicle a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado truck was reported stolen . The truck was a total loss.

BREAK ENTER AND THEFT - MONTAGUE
Montague RCMP are investigating a break and enter which occurred during the night of Wednesday, January 6th into a Riverside Drive residence. Items stolen from the residence included a 46" Samsung LCD HD tv, Sony PlayStation, Dell Laptop, JVC camcorder and a man's gold wedding band.

BREAK, ENTER AND THEFTS - QUEENS COUNTY
The Queens District RCMP have initiated an investigation into a rash of break and enters and vehicle thefts that have occurred in the Rocky Point, New Dominion, Cumberland, and Cornwall areas. The suspects have been targeting residences, cottages and vehicles taking items such as a plasma TV, stereo equipment, small electronics, jewellery and money. The incidents occurred between December 1st, 2009 and January 8th, 2010.

Break Enter and Theft - Montague
Montague RCMP is currently investigating a Break, Enter and Theft which occurred between 5:00 PM, 2009-04-16 and 8:00 AM, 2009-04-17. The culprits gained access into a locked trailer adjacent to Kings County Chrysler in Montague and stole four tires described as 33 X 12.5 R17 Dick Cepek Radial FC II. The culprits also stole four Delta Esteam Touring Tires size 205 55 R16. The total value of the theft is approximately $2000.00.

Stolen Vehicle - Belfast
Sometime between 10:00 pm and 08:00am on April 10th, 2009 a 1998 maroon colored Dodge Neon was stolen from a Belfast residence. This vehicle was recovered on Belmont Street in Charlottetown the next morning. The vehicle stolen was started without keys. Damage to Property - Bloomfield
On May 9th 2009 between the hours of 1200 am and 900 am, someone damaged the Kentucky Fried Chicken sign that is attached to the KFC building in Bloomfield. The damage was caused by somebody ripping a metal pole from the ground and then hitting the sign with the pole. Theft of Family Pet - Cape Traverse
Sometime during the evening of April 26, 2009 a five year old female English Boxer disappeared from Cape Traverse and is presumed stolen. The boxer, a family pet, is fawn with black and is five years old. She was wearing a pink collar when she disappeared. Her family is anxious for her safe return.

THEFT AND ARSON OF TRUCK
East Prince RCMP reports a red 2001 Chev Siverado was stolen from a Toronto, PE residence between 2009-05-21 and 2009-05-29. The vehicle was seen on or about 2009-05-28 driving erratically in that area. The vehicle was discovered completely destroyed by fire in a field in South Granville, PE on 2009-05-30.

THEFT OF RIDE ON LAWNMOWER
Montague RCMP report that sometime between 5:00pm Friday, July 10th and 7:40am Saturday, July 11th 2009, culprit(s) broke into a secure fenced compound at Stewart & Beck Home Hardware located 568 Main St., Montague. A lawn tractor was taken from the compound.
Details: 2009 red 15.5 HP Yardman ride on lawnmower with 42 inch cutting deck, six speed transmatic "shift on the go" transmission and valued at $1529.99. Serial # 1b249b70344

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY - CAVENDISH/STANLEY BRIDGE
Several soft drink machines were damaged overnight July 15/16 in the North Shore communities of Cavendish and Stanley Bridge. Culprit(s) damaged the machines when they tried unsuccessfully to break into them for cash and product.

DAMAGE TO THE BUNBURY OUTDOOR RINK
On Saturday, the 2nd of August, 2009 a Bobcat loader was stolen from the parking lot of the Bunbury Mall. At approx 3:45 AM a number of youths were noted in the area of the Bunbury outdoor rink around the loader. The loader was then driven through the boards of the rink several times and then came to rest into the side of the rink building. The group then fled in a vehicle that was parked nearby. Damage estimated between $15,000 and $20,000.

THEFT OF OUTBOARD MOTOR - MACHON POINT ROAD
Between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 pm on the night of July 14 2009, culprit(s) made their way down the beach at Machon Point Road. During low tide, culprit(s) removed a 20 horsepower Yamaha outboard motor from a local mussel fishing vessel. Culprit(s) used a larger type 4 wheel-drive vehicle to transport the outboard from the scene. This Yamaha outboard is a model 20 MLHD with serial number 6L3-1004575. The value of this motor is approximately $ 3400.00

DAMAGE TO ELECTRIC SPEED SIGN - STRATFORD
Between 10 pm and 6 am on the 14-15th of July, 2009 the electronic speed sign belonging to the Town of Stratford was damaged. It is believed that the culprits threw a large brick from the back of a truck. The sign was posted on the Stratford Road near the intersection with Barkley Avenue. Damage was in approximately $2000.

DAMAGE TO TIGNISH TOWN PROPERTY
Damage to property occurred in Tignish between 12:00 and 3:00 AM, August 13, 2009. Someone removed flowerpots from power poles and smashed them in the streets. Tires were placed to block traffic and pylons were set up to mislead traffic.

ASSAULT
On the evening of August 23rd 2009 between the hours of 09:00 and 09:30 PM a lone male walking home on Sackville Street in Montague was assaulted by two individuals. The Victim described both individuals as wearing blue jeans, hoodies and ball caps. One ball cap was white in color with the Charlotte Hornets logo on it. Both left on foot towards Main street.

DAMAGE TO VERNON RIVER CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL
Damage occurred to the Vernon River Consolidated School sometime over the weekend of September 11-13 2009. Person(s) unknown placed a picnic table against the back entry and climbed on top of the porch to get up to the roof. Culprit(s) then used a piece of wood to break a skylight. No entry made into the school however rain came in the broken skylight and damaged several items inside the building, including a computer.

Sometime between September 2nd and 9th, 2009, a residence at 39 Oliver Road in Huntley PEI was broken into. The front door appears to have been kicked in. A small hide-a-bed style couch, striped beige and grey, and a wooden coffee table was taken.

DAMAGE TO POTATO HARVESTING EQUIPMENT - ELMWOOD
Farm equipment was damaged on October 14, 2009 at approximately 1:00 AM. Over $13,000.00 worth of damage was done to a potato digger and front mounted windrower which was parked in a field one kilometer West of Route 9 in Elmwood. The culprits had started the equipment and caused the damage.

ARSON - 162 Duke Street, Summerside.
On November 3rd, 2009 at 10:00 PM the Summerside Fire Department and Summerside Police Services responded to a house fire at 162 Duke St., Summerside. A fire was set inside of the house and resulted in extensive damage. The residence has been abandoned for the last year. On several occasions youth have been seen in and around the building. Investigators believe this fire was deliberately set.

MISSING PERSON - BANGOR, PEI - JUNE 21, 1982
The family of Theresa Ann Gregory (Byrne) are requesting the help of the public with any information on the June 21, 1982 disappearance of Theresa Ann from her home in Bangor, PEI. There has been no contact with her children or her family for 27 years and all avenues in finding her have been exhausted by the police and family members.
The family believe that foul play led to her disappearance and wish to find her remains for proper burial.

STOLEN PLOUGH - ISLAND CONSTRUCTION
On December 3rd,2009 Island Construction reported that a Fisher plough was stolen from a vehicle at 355 Sherwood Rd. in Charlottetown. Sometime between the 22nd day of November 2009 and the time it was reported the plough was stolen from the front of a one ton truck which was parked on their property. The missing plough is a Fisher FISPK9 V-Plough serial#5V27169FS27780 and is valued at $6,500.00.

Montague RCMP are investigating a commercial break and enter that occurred overnight on Saturday December 12th, 2009 at the Down East Mall in Montague, PEI. Sometime between 10:30 pm on Saturday December 12th and 09:00 am on December 13th unknown persons entered the Down East Mall and stole a large quantity of money from an ATM machine and unknown amount of money from Sears.

Sometime between Nov. 13th and Nov. 16th 2009, a warehouse on Dock Road, Elmsdale, was entered and the following tools were stolen:
One 3/4" Ingersoll air gun (silver), one 1/2" Driver air gun (silver), one 3/4" Deep socket (in red case), one 1/2"Drive impact (socket in red case), one 20 tonne air hydraulic jack (blue), one Napa Battery charger, one Portable air tank, and one Pipe wrench (aluminum).
Value of the missing tools is approximately $1,500.00.

Break and Enter/Property Damage
A Break & Enter and Property Damage occurred to a property at 19 Mariner's Lane in Murray Harbour. This happened sometime between Thursday February, 19th and Tuesday February 24th, 2009. Once inside the person(s) responsible caused severe damage to the office areas on both floors of the building. Damages are over $5000.00.

Damage to Vehicles
Overnight February 22/23, 2009, windows were smashed out of seven vehicles while parked on streets in Summerside.. Nothing was reported stolen from these vehicles and they did not appear to have been entered. These vehicles were parked on Arnette Ave, High Street, Campbell Street, and Autumn Street.

Home Invasion - Summerside
At approximately 2:30 AM on 11th day of August 2008 an unknown person forced their way into a residence at 107 Ottawa Street, Summerside and forcefully tied up a 86 year old male and in the process assaulted him. The suspect then ransacked the entire residence. A white/beige safe containing a large sum of cash was stolen from a hiding place under a couch in the residence. The victim was able to untie himself and go for help. He was later treated in hospital for his injuries. The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect as it was dark at the time of this incident. A number of items were recovered including the safe. Large sum of money is still missing.

Hit and Run - Damage to Vehicle
At approximately 10 PM, March 2, 2009 a Toyota Camry parked across the road from the O'Leary Kwik-Way received extensive damage to the front drivers side.. It appeared as if someone had backed out of the parking lot directly into her car. Several witnesses were spoken to and it is believed the vehicle responsible was a large truck with roof lights. While evidence obtained from the scene is being further examined, we would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision.

Break and Enters - West Point
Several Break and Enters reported to West Prince RCMP March 4, 2009 on the MacDonald Shore Road in West Point. . They are all summer residences that are closed up for the season and the breaks occurred during the past two weeks into seven back yard sheds on the cottage properties. At this time it is not known if anything has been taken until all the owners can be contacted. Investigators are looking for anyone with information on suspicious vehicles in the area or any other activity in the area.

Theft of Stop Signs - Tignish
Between Sunday March 15, 2009 and Tuesday March 17, 2009, 24 stop signs were unbolted from their posts and taken from streets in Tignish and surrounding communities.Highway officials had just checked the signs and they were in place prior to 2009-03-15.

Suspicious Fire
Montague RCMP are seeking assistance from the public in regards to a suspicious fire that occured in the early morning hours of December 7, 2008 on Riverside Drive Extension.
A rental property, located at 62 Riverside Drive Extension, had it's baby barn destroyed completely by fire. The storage barn was not being used, and had no electrical service at the time of the fire.

ARSON
Around 1:00 AM on November 1, 20008 an abandoned farm house and barn on Route 255 in Tarantum were destroyed by fire. Investigators believe that a suspect parked on the highway and walked along the tree line to a fallen barn and set it on fire then proceeded to the abandoned house and set it on fire as well. The property was vacant for several years and the structures were not insured.

STOLEN ATV
A 2000 Polaris 325 ATV, red seat, black and white in color, with a black 3' x 6" plywood box on the back was stolen from a North Rustico residence between 5 pm on Nov.29/08 and 12 pm on Nov.30/08.

Byron Carr - 1988 Unsolved Homicide
 Byron Carr was last seen alive at approximately 3:30 AM , Friday November 11th. 1988, which was the beginning of a long Remembrance Day week- end. He was driving a 1987 white Ford Tempo West on Sydney Street near the corner of Great George Street, Charlottetown. He was found dead in the bedroom of his home, 24 Lapthorne Avenue, Charlottetown, 31 hours later. Time of death was determined to be between 3:30 and 9:00 AM November 11th. Evidence at the scene indicated his death followed a sexual act with a male. Carr was strangled and stabbed and the killer left a note saying; ''I WILL KILL AGAIN!''
Investigators are interested in speaking to anyone who may have been on city streets at that time. 1. Releasing the photo is another step in the investigation.
2. Although the wording of the crime scene message had been previously released to the public in November of 1988, this is the first time we have released, an actual photo of the message.
